Product Introduction

 perform surface pre-treatment (degreasing and chemical processing) to the base plate as cold rolled strip and galvanized strip on the continuous unit, then coat a layer or multi-layer fluid coating through roller coating and perform baking and cooling process to fabricate coating steel plate. Since the coating has a different color, it is used to called the coating plate color coating plate, meanwhile, the coating is performed before steel plate formation, the plate is called a pre-coated plate in the international market.

 Process flow

 Color-coating steel plate is a product, which is fabricated by performing pre-treatment to the base plate as cold rolled steel plate and galvanized steel plate and then performing continuous coating in the method of roller coating, baking and cooling.

 The main production steps in the process flow of a common two-coating-two-baking type continuous color coating unit are as follows: de-coil→pretreatment→coating→baking→post-treatment→coiling.

 Product Application

 The coating steel plate has many advantages, such as light, good-looking appearance and corrosion resistance, and can be processed directly, this plate provides new raw material to architectural, ship-building, automotive manufacturing, furniture and electrical industries, and this product may substitute wood as raw materials to facilitate high efficient construction, save energy, prevent pollution and etc.

 The color coating plate using galvanized steel plate as the base plate has zinc protection, the organic coating on the zinc plays the role of covering and isolation to prevent rust and provide higher service life than galvanized steel plate. It is said that the service life of the coating steel plate has 50% longer service life than the galvanized plate.

 However, the service life of color coating plates with the same galvanization quantity, coating and coating thickness varies with location and application area. For example, in industrial areas and coastal areas, the sulfur dioxide or salinity will fasten corrosion and shorten service life. In the rainy season, the coating immersed in rain for a long time, or partically exposed to an environment subject to dew due to large temperature variations from day to night maybe corrode more quickly than in normal weather conditions and service life will be shortened. Buildings or factories built with color coating plate and subjected to rain washing has a longer service life. The sulfur dioxide gas, salt and dust will affect the application. Therefore, the higher the inclination is, the lesser the accumulated dust will be and the longer the service life will be; As for those parts with less opportunity to receive rain wash shall be regularly washed with water.
